The New York City Council prepares and publishes reports about New York City government and services.  You may request copies of these reports from the Council.

Report topics change. Past topics include:

  • City budget
  • City technology infrastructure
  • Survey of public rest rooms and public drinking fountains
  • Information on citizen satisfaction with City services

You can get help finding information on past City agency reports and studies. If you require extensive research, you should visit the Municipal Library. No appointment is necessary.

The Library is located at 31 Chambers Street, Room 111, in lower Manhattan. 

It is open to the public on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and on Thursday from 9 AM until 6 PM. The Library is also open on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. However, during November, the Library will be open on the first and third Saturday instead.
