ActionHealthNYC completed its one-year demonstration on June 30, 2017.
As of July 1, 2017, there is no longer a formal program called ActionHealthNYC. There is no opportunity to enroll for ActionHealthNYC at this time.
If your income, or immigration status has changed since you applied last year for ActionHealthNYC, you may be eligible for public insurance or other affordable health care options.
You may have also signed up for or renewed your Emergency Medicaid last year at the same time you applied for ActionHealthNYC. Emergency Medicaid is different from ActionHealthNYC. Emergency Medicaid is a separate program that helps you pay for the cost of getting care at the emergency room.
Limited Enrollment
The ActionHealthNYC program had limited available openings during this first year. The program hopes to expand in the future and allow more people to enroll.
Confidentiality
Your personal contact and medical information that was collected for the ActionHealthNYC research study is kept private.
Billing Problem
If you were an ActionHealthNYC Member and got a bill for health care services that you think is incorrect, or if you are unable to pay your bill, you should first speak to your doctor's office or the billing department where the bill came from.
